Jonah, Kate, and Lincoln posing in the pumpkin maze Lincoln is a lobster this year. Both of the other kids were pretty big on their first Halloween, and I've always wanted to put one of my babies in a bunting costume. I found this one online and I think little Linky is a pretty cute catch (pardon the pun).
Who ya gonna call?
Jonah is a ghost this year, and can be pretty scary when he wants to. However, he wasn't scared of posing with all of these cool characters: Batman, Superman, Captain Jack and Davey Jones. He, of course, led the pack most of the way, calling for the little kids to hurry up so he could get to the next candy booth.
Kate and Belle
Ever since we saw the Beauty and the Beast play this summer, Kate has been obsessed with Belle. So, naturally, this was her costume of choice. Belle was one of the very last characters on the zoo route. When Kate saw her, she literally starting running over and gave her a giant hug. Belle was very sweet too, returning the hug and chatting a little with her admirer. I just about cried watching, it was so cute (I know, I'm such a sap.) Of course, seeing Belle was Kate's favorite part. She also enjoyed posing with the other princesses: Snow White and Cinderella.
And now for the silliness...
For the past two years, Micah has gotten his picture taken with Willy Wonka at the zoo. Alas, Willy was not available this year. However, he and Jonah had some fun posing as Veruca Salt and an Oompa-loompa. Maybe Willy will be back next year...
Lincoln's favorite part was getting out of his costume and going home. (Of course, maybe he's just laughing at how silly his dad looks as a blueberry-girl).
Happy Halloween!

I'm jealous of your Superman picture! When we went it was a guy with the top on and jeans on bottom...do you think superman would wear jeans with his cape??? I don't think so!
Oh my adorable children. They look so cute in their costumes. I especiall love Lincoln's lobster costume. I still haven't gotten Xavier's costume yet...I'm thinking he's going to be a lizard or a dinosaur though because he's always sticking out his tongue. :) And amen about wishing we were neighbors. That would be AWESOME!!! Love you!
How fun!! Everyone looks like they are having a great time. The kids costumes are awesome. Thank you for sharing the pictures!
What a spooky bunch! Lincoln looks like a tasty lobster! HOw fun! We aren't going until next weekend so I am sure it will be cold and busy, but I'm not done with the costumes yet so we have to wait! This Cinderella looks a little classier than the one for Princess day!
What a fun day! You guys really make good use of that zoo. I love it. Your post made me realize I need to get cracking on some Halloween costumes. I have done nothing yet. The Lincoln lobster costume is great. Your tiny tees are adorable.
How much fun. I love Boo at the Zoo. I love the Willy Wonka Pictures also. How fun for your family!
