They say he's in the 25th percentile for weight. One look at this face (and those cheeks) tells us that Lincoln is just as suprised (and disbelieving) as we are.
The doctor commented that she wasn't sure that she believed the weight. We've just been assuming that his chub is the marshmallow fluff variety rather than trans fat.
So, Lincoln was 6 months old on February 1st. That's the nice thing about having a birthday on the 1st of the month: every new month means you're exactly one month older. So what's Linky doing these days?
- He doesn't roll over much, but he has done so a few times from tummy to back. Seeing as how he pretty much hates to be on his tummy, he hasn't even really attempted to roll from back to front.
- He's been sitting up for about a month now and is pretty good at it.
- His new thing is to lunge forward after a toy that is a little out of reach, the result being a faceplant on the floor.
- He grabs at everything in front of him.
- We now know that he likes rice cereal made w/water; loves applesauce; enjoys peas; dislikes squash. Other foods have yet to be tried.
- He's still a huge fan of nursing and still will not take a pacifier (although he does like to chew on them sometimes).
- New favorite past-time is taking his socks off--see following picture.
- Goes to sleep by holding a blanket to his face.
- Thankfully he's very flexible with feedings and naps, seeing as how his schedule must fit between all the goings on of the rest of the family.
- Smiles, laughs, babbles, and warms our hearts daily.
I love my studly little chubby-cheeked baby!

He looks so cute and chubby. At 6 months to weigh less than 20 lbs. doesn't = wrist rolls and cheeks like that!
Maybe you should get it rechecked?
Well, even if it's right it doesn't change the cuteness factor-he's adorable.
He is adorable. He definitely looks a lot chubbier than Kai and Kai weighs 20 pounds. He is sitting up like a champ. Love Kate's haircut.
i can't believe she is three already.
I do have to saw that we Clawson's have cute kids. I'm excited to actually meet your kids and husband in person at the wedding! It has been way to long. :)
Oh, he is just so cute and his cheeks are a bit deceiving!! We also love Kate's new hair cut!

I read your blog once in a while and I just have to tell you, Lincoln is such an adorable little baby! Madeline (my baby) is going through a lot of the same things he is going through right now. It is so much fun to watch them develop and grow.
I loved your comment about marshmallow fat vs. trans fat - I think maddy has the other kind, haha.
