So I don't have any new pictures uploaded, but I thought I'd record some funny things that my kids said today...I don't think I do that enough.
For the first couple days of school, Jonah didn't want me to leave him. In fact, he cried when I left and didn't really participate in class. Well, that has totally changed now. He LOVES preschool, and I think he'd go every day if he could (he goes 3 days a week). So tonight at bedtime out of nowhere he says to Micah, "We all know that I'm not afraid of school anymore." Yes Jonah, we all know that.
Kate was having a mischevious day today. She and Jonah were watching t.v. and I was in the kitchen when she comes in to talk to me. I hadn't fixed her hair, so she decided to do it herself.
Kate: "Mom, don't I look good?"
Me: (The front of her hair is wet and plastered haphazardly to her forehead). "Yes, Katie, that looks great. Did you fix it yourself?"
Kate: "Yeah, it was a little bit crazy."
Me: "What did you use to fix it?" (I'm thinking she might have gotten into Micah's hair gel.)
Kate: "It's just water...Actually, it's just a little bit of juice."
Just so you know, dried apple juice is just as effective as hair gel. Needless to say we washed our hair tonight.

Hmmm, I never thought about using juice to tame Emma's hair. Thanks Kate! Ha Ha. Shannon, you have a very girly-girl on your hands. And I am SO GLAD Jonah loves preschool. Emma looks forward to going every single day. She likes it more then she did last year! See ya soon!
oh man, totally laughed out loud when i read... actually, it's a little bit of juice. too cute!
I love the stuff kids say! More than once it's reminded me that being a mom is the best!
Oh - we miss having you guys over once a week. Kaleb finally stopped asking if we would see Jonah at church. How is it juggling three!?! May the force be with you. :)
Juice? What a good idea! I'm glad that Jonah is enjoying preschool! How are you doing? I still haven't seen you in person or sweet Lincoln since you had him. Hopefully soon!
