Backyard Fun

We've been having some fun outside in the backyard, so I thought I'd post some pictures. The backyard was one of the big reasons we bought our house...it is very big, fenced in, and has lots of shade. The kids have lots of fun out there! (If only they were a little more content to be out there without me...oh, well).

The kids like to play in their swimming pool (you can't see it but it looks like a whale.) Here they are sunbathing and enjoying a little snack.

I don't know where it started, but they like to pretend that they are dogs. They even have names...Jonah is Buddy and Kate is Ruby. They play this game all the time. Here they are, in character, playing fetch. They kept making me throw the frisbees, and they would proceed to chase after them and fetch them (with their mouths, of course) and we'd start all over again. It was cracking me up.

It's been nice to have the weather cool down a little bit so we can be outside and no be sweating to death! It's only going to get hotter, so we are trying to enjoy it while we can.
